News You Should Hear About ⚠️

An English DJ is garnering attention for his overplayed song request price list.

According to the Daily Gazette, a request of The Killers "Mr. Brightside" will cost listeners a whopping $1,000. Other popular requests hold hefty price tags as well– Kings Of Leon’s Sex On Fire costs £100 per spin, and Wonderwall from Oasis comes in at £500.

“Some people don’t understand why we DJs do this and that we are playing songs to keep the vibe going," said Colin Gingell-Good – aka DJ PressPlay.“The list is a tongue-in-cheek joke; the majority of people take it as a joke and can laugh about it.

Artists We Love 🎤

Queer Indian American artist Raveena Aurora is spirituality first when it comes to her music. She found her voice through the inspirations of Ella Fitzgerald, Muse, and Minnie Riperton, while fusing it with Bollywood soundtracks from childhood, and R&B, pop, and folk she discovered later in life. She recently released her new album, "Where the Butterflies Go in the Rain", consisting of beautiful storytelling, glorious coalescence of Indian instrumentation and 2000s pop that will stay with you. Our favorite tracks, "Pluto", "Headaches", and "Temptation" are all available on Spotify and Apple Music.
