FL Studio 2024 is here! The latest update includes a new vintage synth, two new effects, and free plugins through FL Cloud Plus.
The Daw’s new Kepler Exo synth, heavily inspired by the Roland Juno-6 and Jupiter-8, includes dual oscillators and a 26-slot modulation matrix. Additionally, Fl’s new effects include a Low Lifter plugin to create harmonics from low frequencies and a Spreader plugin to allow stereo widening.

British singer Cleo Sol first made her debut in 2008, with a single by Tinie Tempah. After taking a hiatus from 2012 to 2017, she made up for lost time with her EP Winter Songs in 2018, a debut album in March 2020, and two surprise albums in 2023! Her influences are a wonderful blend of Motown, reggae, and latin music that will sweep you away. Our favorite tracks, "Self" and "In Your Own Home" are available on Spotify and Apple Music.
What's Happening at 343?
The Chop Shop Monthly Sample Challenge, hosted by Great Dane, is an exciting remix competition and live event at 343 Labs NYC, located at 119 W 23rd St, Studio 902.
Participants can submit their beats, receive feedback from special guest judges, and win prizes.
Highlights of the event include live performances by talented students, feedback and judging sessions, and the compilation of winning beats into a mixtape on 343 Labs’ SoundCloud. This event is open to all members of the 343 Labs community.
The event takes place on July 25th from 7-10 PM, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own beverages (BYOB). Each month, samples and stems are released on the first Thursday, with submissions due by the last Thursday of the month.
