Tiktok Music is shutting down after just one year.
The music platform, born from the media company ByteDance, launched last July and was available in Indonesia, Brazil, Australia, Singapore and Mexico. It will officially shutter on November 28.
The company announced it will shift focus to its ‘Add To Music App’ feature. This new add-on lets users add tracks they discover on TikTok videos directly to a playlist on Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon Music.
